We all know that we use our pages for most important information like About page, Contact page, Testimonial page and so on. Obviously you want those pages to be seen as the best pages of your blog and you might not like to receive comments on them. For me, the best idea is to let the reader connect via contact page and not to let them comment on pages but only on posts.
In Thesis we can disable comments on pages with one single click. And you can also take care of “comments on this entry are closed” message.
Login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Thesis design option. Under display options click on comments

Check the box which says “Disable comments on all pages” and click on big ass save button. That’s it and now your pages will not show any comment box and no message. Here is an example:

This is one quick and simple tip but will save lots of your time. Specially if you happens to be one of those who check box on individual pages to disable comment.
